Recently, Swedish payment giant Klarna officially announced the early launch of its first stablecoin KlarnaUSD on the Tempo blockchain backed by Paradigm and Stripe, which was originally planned to be launched in 2026. According to its explanation, the annual transaction volume of stablecoins has reached 27 trillion US dollars, and Klarna will bring faster and cheaper cross-border transfers to 114 million customers in the future. The large-scale adoption of cryptocurrencies is at the right time, and this is just the beginning. It is understood that Klarna's annual GMV exceeded 118 billion US dollars; previously, its Q3 financial report showed that the quarterly performance hit a record high since the company went public. Its single-quarter revenue soared to 903 million US dollars, GMV increased by 23%, and revenue in the US increased by 51%.
