Brazilian fintech company Tanssi is launching a government-backed blockchain project to provide small-scale loans to small rural producers in São Paulo through a mobile app and physical payment machines. The project, which uses Tanssi-built blockchain infrastructure to enable predictable transaction fees and reliability, rather than relying on public blockchains like Ethereum or Solana, is expected to launch next month.
