US stocks closed 3 hours earlier due to the Thanksgiving holiday, and the three major indexes closed up collectively for the fifth consecutive trading day. The Nasdaq rose 0.65%, the Dow rose 0.61%, and the S & P 500 rose 0.54%. The Nasdaq rose 4.91% this week, the Dow rose 3.18%, and the S & P 500 rose 3.73%. Technology stocks were mostly higher, with Intel closing up 10%, its biggest one-day gain since September 18. Meta rose more than 2%, AMD, Amazon, Netflix, and Microsoft rose more than 1%.
