On November 28, 2025, on the afternoon of November 26, 2025, a level 5 fire broke out in Hongfu Court, Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong, causing heavy casualties and property damage. This serious disaster affected the hearts of the whole territory and the global Chinese community. All walks of life took prompt action to support the affected residents through donations, material assistance and volunteer services.
In this context, AB Charity Foundation donated HK $10 million to the Hong Kong Association for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China to jointly participate in the fire relief and post-disaster community reconstruction work at Hung Fuk Court, Tai Po, and to jointly promote the sustainable development of humanitarian assistance and related public utilities.
