Whether it is trading or lending against traditional financial assets, the addressable market size of such projects is likely to be much larger than that of projects that only focus on crypto-native assets.
This helps us get out of our own reflexive bull-bear cycle (i.e., a situation where crypto-asset price declines lead to deteriorating fundamentals). The biggest obstacle in the past was actually regulatory issues, but that seems to be changing.
