South Korean digital asset exchange Upbit suffered a hacker attack today (November 27). About 44.50 billion Korean won (about 30 million US dollars) assets were stolen, mainly involving digital assets on the Solana network. Upbit found abnormal transfers at 4:41 on the same day and reported them to regulators. South Korean police and financial regulators have launched an on-site investigation into the operator Liangnangmu Company, which is expected to last until next month 5. Upbit said it will compensate customers in full with the company's assets to ensure that users have zero losses.
Previously, Upbit disclosed that it was attacked, and about 54 billion Korean won tokens were transferred to unknown wallets.
