On November 27th, according to Bloomberg, Do Kwon, co-founder of Terraform Labs Pte., said he should not be sentenced to more than five years in the United States for his involvement in the 2022 TerraUSD stablecoin crash-related fraud case worth $40 billion. Kwon pleaded guilty to conspiracy and wire fraud charges in August, thus avoiding a trial. He was previously arrested in Montenegro and convicted of using a fake passport as a fugitive charged in South Korea, and was subsequently extradited to the United States.
