MIIX Capital: Japanese cryptocurrency holders account for over 5 million 4% of the total population, with the highest proportion of BTC and ETH portfolios

MIIX Capital has released a Japanese cryptocurrency market research report, which showcases key data including:
TripleA estimates that more than 5 million people currently own cryptocurrencies, representing 4.0% of the total population of Japan.
2. BTC and ETH remain the favorite cryptoassets of Japanese investors, but they have also shown strong interest in diversifying into various fields such as NFTs, meta-universes, stablecoins, public blockchains, DeFi, and Meme coins.
3. Japanese men are more interested in cryptocurrency investing. 0% of investors are male, while only 20% are female.
4. BTC and ETH account for the highest proportion of Japanese users' portfolios, covering all age groups. Other popular categories favored by Japanese investors include NFTs (27%), Metaverse (24%), stablecoins (16%), and public blockchain projects (15%). In addition, GameFi (11%), DeFi (8%), and Meme Coin (8%) are gradually becoming the investment choices of Japanese users.
5. Most Japanese investors learn about cryptocurrencies through social media and key opinion leaders (KOLs). The social media platforms they trust and use include: YouTube (32%), Twitter (23%), Line (15%), Instagram (13%) and TikTok (9%). Data shows that technical social channels such as Discord, Telegram, Reddit are not trusted by Japanese users.
