South Korea's largest web portal, Naver, has agreed to acquire Dunamu, the operator of Upbit, the country's largest cryptocurrency exchange, in an all-stock deal valued at about $10.30 billion.
According to the deal plan disclosed in a regulatory filing on Wednesday, Naver's fintech subsidiary, Naver Financial Corp., will complete the acquisition by issuing 2.54 new Naver shares for every Dunamu share it holds.
