Harmonic, an AI startup co-founded by Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev, has raised $120 million at a valuation of $1.45 billion, led by Ribbit Capital with participation from Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins and new investor Emerson Collective.
Harmonic's core technology, "Mathematical Super Intelligence (MSI) ", is based on formal logic rather than statistical prediction and is designed to solve the AI illusion problem. Its flagship model, Aristotle, has excelled in the International Mathematical Olympiad, reaching a level comparable to Google and OpenAI's leading research labs. Aristotle generates verifiable inference steps through the Lean4 programming language, ensuring that conclusions are based on strict logic. The technology is particularly suitable for high-risk industries such as aerospace and finance. At present, Aristotle is open to developers and mathematicians through a free API, and commercialization plans will be launched at a later stage.
