According to official news, Coinbase Ventures released its investment outlook for 2026. The agency will focus on four frontier areas next year: RWA perpetual contracts, specialized trading end points, next-generation DeFi protocols, and AI and robotics. Among them, the direction of specialized trading end points includes Prop AMMs and prediction market trading end points; the direction of next-generation DeFi protocols focuses on sustainable market composability, unsecured lending/credit, and on-chain privacy; AI and robotics focus on human identity, AI empowering on-chain development and security.
Coinbase Ventures said its team is actively seeking to invest in these areas and would welcome discussions with them.
