Arkham released an update on Strategy's bitcoin holdings: Strategy has been decentralizing custodians to reduce its reliance on Coinbase. In the past two months, it has transferred 58,390 bitcoins (currently worth $5.10 billion) to Fidelity Custody.
Fidelity Custody uses an integrated account system in which client assets are mixed up, including some of Strategy's bitcoins, which are also mixed with the assets of other Fidelity customers. This means that on the Arkham platform, more of Strategy's bitcoins are now displayed under the Fidelity Custody entity name rather than under Strategy's own entity name. Including bitcoins deposited into Fidelity Custody, Arkham tracks about 92% of Strategy's bitcoins. Strategy holds a total of 641,692 bitcoins (worth $56.14 billion), of which 165,709 bitcoins (worth $14.50 billion) have been sent to Fidelity Custody.
