U.S. CFTC Acting Chairperson Pham Seeks CEO to Join Innovation Council as he Expands Crypto Regulation

Caroline Pham, acting chair of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), is seeking CEOs from across the board to join a new "CEO Innovation Council" as institutions step up their efforts to expand regulation of digital assets. "In order to move quickly, the CFTC needs to engage with the public, supported by industry experts and innovators who are shaping the future," said Pham, who announced on Tuesday that she had launched a call for nominations for the commission, with a deadline for submissions on December 8.
