MoonPay Receives Approval from New York State Regulators to Offer Cryptocurrency Custody and Services over the counter

According to crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett, MoonPay has been approved by the New York State regulator NYDFS for a limited-purpose trust charter to provide cryptocurrency custody and over the counter services in New York State. MoonPay has previously obtained a BitLicense license. Currently, Coinbase, PayPal, Ripple, and NYDIG have both obtained regulatory licenses.
