VanEck Amends BNB ETF's S-1 File to Remove Pledging Option

Asset manager VanEck said in its latest S-1 filing with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) that its BNB ETF will no longer offer the staking option, and that the ETF will not use its BNB for staking activities at the time of listing, and therefore will not receive any form of staking reward or income from staking activities. VanEck admitted that eliminating the staking option could cause the ETF to underperform the performance of holding BNB.
