On November 25th, fixed income infrastructure agreement Treehouse announced that its token buyback proposal has received 99.59% overwhelming support on November 15th, marking one of the most important decisions since the establishment of the DAO. The buyback is designed to strengthen market confidence and support the long-term value of $TREE.
Since completing the TGE this year, Treehouse officially established the DAO in September to start a new phase of governance led by the community. The team has repurchased nearly 350,000 $TREE in the first large-scale open market repurchase, and simultaneously announced the full chain data to ensure transparency and verifiability.
Token buybacks are similar to stock buybacks, designed to increase prices by reducing market liquidity and convey confidence in the value of $TREE. Treehouse believes that the value of $TREE far exceeds market expectations, so it adopts a regular buyback strategy to reduce liquidity and benefit long-term holders.

Revenue stream: Repurchase is supported by real income generated by tETH-dominated Market Efficiency Yield (MEY).

Flexible frequency: Repurchase takes an irregular, at least once a week approach to reduce the risk of preemptive transactions.
Tokens are deposited into the DAO treasury: All repurchased $TREE will be deposited into the DAO multi-signature treasury, and subsequent use will be subject to community governance decisions.
