The Monad mainnet is officially live. According to the project's token economy model, 50.6% of the total MON supply will initially be locked, which includes nearly 26.90 billion tokens allocated to the team, 19.60 billion tokens allocated to investors, and 3.90 billion tokens from the Monad treasury. The unlocking work will begin in the second half of 2026 and will gradually increase on a quarterly basis until the end of 2029 according to the publicly available unlocking schedule. When the Monad mainnet goes live, there will be multiple mature crypto projects in use, including MetaMask and Phantom wallets, Curve and Uniswap decentralized trading platforms, as well as protocols such as USDC, USDT0 and AUSD stablecoins.
