The crypto advocacy group Stand With Crypto, which is gearing up for the 2026 midterm elections, is surveying federal and state candidates for their positions on key cryptocurrency issues. The questionnaire, sent out this week, asks candidates for their views on issues such as personal custody of digital assets, innovation, de-banking, cryptocurrency mining, consumer protection, and more. The questionnaire also asks if they have personally purchased, sold, or used cryptocurrency or blockchain applications.
Backed by Coinbase, Stand With Crypto runs grassroots advocacy across the United States and offers an online tool that rates politicians on a scale of A to F based on how friendly they are to cryptocurrencies. The tool was widely popular in the 2024 election, and SWC says it will update it with new survey data for the midterm elections.
