On November 24th, Kobeissi Letter said that since the establishment of the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) on January 20th, the US official debt has increased by 2.10 trillion dollars. This means that it has increased by 6.50 billion dollars per day for 326 consecutive days.
Previously, it was reported that the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has been disbanded and was supposed to operate until July 2026. The Department of Government Efficiency, led by Musk, was established in January this year with the goal of overhauling Washington, reducing the size of federal agencies, cutting their budgets and shifting their focus to Trump's priorities. The DOGE core team consists of six technical elites aged 19-25. On April 25, Musk officially stepped down as DOGE, and then the work progress of DOGE has also become slow.
