According to the official disclosure of Port3 Network, the project launched a token migration plan after the attack to ensure the stability of the ecosystem and protect user assets.
According to the migration plan, all tokens will be migrated on a 1:1 scale. The snapshot time is 20:56 UTC after the attack, and users will not suffer any losses. The centralized exchange will also perform the same migration operation. The new tokens will be released exclusively on BNB Chain. Port3 Network said that it announced the migration of all $PORT3 liquidity from Ethereum to BNB Chain back in April this year. The new token contract will be deployed only on BNB Chain to enhance security. To offset the impact of unauthorized minting, the team will destroy a total of 162.70 million PORT3 tokens, ensuring that the total supply remains unchanged.
After the attack, Port3 Network announced that it would migrate the tokens in a 1:1 ratio and destroy 162.70 million PORT3s.
