Susan Collins, the president of the Boston Fed, said a day after hinting that she might be inclined to keep interest rates on hold that she had not yet decided how to vote at the Fed's next policy meeting. "I haven't made a decision, and I'm not going to make a decision until I actually get to the meeting," Collins told reporters on the sidelines of the Fed's annual economic meeting in Boston on Saturday. "There's data to come." As a voting member of the Fed's rate-setting committee this year, Collins said earlier this week that she was hesitant to cut rates in December because of stubbornly high inflation and current policy that is only mildly restrictive.
