UK Arrests 128 People, Seizes 32.60 million Dollar Cryptocurrency and Cash

According to Decrypt, the U.K.'s National Crime Investigation Agency (NCA) has revealed that a U.K.-led crackdown on Russian sanctions evasion has arrested 128 people and seized $32.60 million worth of cryptocurrency and cash. The operation, called OperationDestabilise, was first announced in 2024 and had arrested 84 people and seized $25.50 million as of December last year. But the latest figures from the NCA show that the operation arrested 45 more suspected money launderers and seized more than $6.60 million in cash.
