In a joint letter to the White House, major industry players such as Coinbase, Uniswap Labs, the Blockchain Association, and the Solana Foundation listed specific actions that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the Treasury Department, and the Justice Department could take without the need for new legislation.
The joint push is designed to translate Trump's supportive stance on cryptocurrencies into actual action by federal agencies and to use executive authority to drive one of the most sweeping cryptocurrency policy changes to date.
