Coinbase app code is suspected to contain early market forecasting and stock trading modules

Coinbase users may soon be able to access prediction markets and tokenized stock trading directly within the app. Screenshots shared by independent researcher Jane Manchun Wong show that Coinbase is testing an interface for prediction markets and tokenized stock trading. Wong said she discovered the screenshots by reverse-engineering the public code of the Coinbase mobile app, which shows tags for "stocks", "predictions" and related disclosures. A few months ago, the company publicly stated that the features were coming soon as part of its "anything can be traded" initiative.
