"The crypto world is going to have a feast for ETFs," said Hunter Horsley, chief executive of Bitwise. "I think there will be more than 100 products. We will see a lot of single-asset crypto exchange platform trading products (ETPs). However, what excites me the most is the growth of index-based crypto ETPs."
Despite the difficult market conditions, he still believes that index ETPs will become one of the most important stories in the crypto space next year, and eventually one of the largest categories for investors to focus on.
"The industry will be 10 times bigger in the future," added Mr. Hougan. Bitwise launched the Solana Pledged ETF on October 28, which tracks the price of the cryptocurrency Solana.
