Trump wants unified federal regulatory standards for artificial intelligence
2025-11-18 22:54:38
President Donald Trump said on social media that investment in artificial intelligence is helping the United States become the "hottest" economy in the world, but over-regulation by states is threatening that growth engine. Some states have even tried to embed DEI's ideology into artificial intelligence models, giving rise to "awakened artificial intelligence." We must have a uniform federal standard, not a patchwork of 50-state regulatory regimes. We can do this in a way that both protects children and prevents censorship. It should be written into the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), or passed alone, and the United States will always be unrivaled.
