Anthropic Receives $15 billion from Microsoft and Nvidia to Purchase $30 billion of Microsoft Cloud Computing Capabilities

Microsoft and Nvidia have announced they will jointly invest up to $15 billion in artificial intelligence developer Anthropic. Anthropic has also committed to buying $30 billion worth of computing power from Microsoft's Azure Cloud as a Service, the companies said on Tuesday. "We will increasingly be each other's customers - we will use Anthropic's model, they will use our infrastructure, and they will explore the market together," the Microsoft CEO said in a video released on Tuesday. "Of course, this all builds on our partnership with OpenAI, which remains an important partner for Microsoft."
