The three major indices of US stocks collectively closed down, the Dow Jones index fell 1.18%, the S & P 500 index fell 0.91%, and the Nasdaq composite index fell 0.84%. Most large technology stocks fell, AMD and Intel fell more than 2%, Nvidia, Apple, Oracle, Meta fell more than 1%, and Google bucked the trend and rose more than 3%.
