The U.S. House of Representatives will vote as soon as Tuesday on whether to release documents related to the sexual assault investigation of the late rich businessperson Epstein. President Trump, who has been opposed to the release of relevant documents, changed his position on Sunday and issued a statement saying that House Republicans should vote on whether to release the Epstein case documents, emphasizing that there is nothing to hide. Trump also accused Democrats of deliberately creating discussions on the Epstein case to try to divert public attention. Republicans have 219 seats in the House of Representatives, accounting for more than half of the seats, and some Democratic House members said that at least 40 Republicans are expected to vote in favor of the release of the documents. But the bill still needs to be submitted to the Senate for a vote, so there is still uncertainty as to whether the Epstein case documents will be released in full.
