Wall Street's biggest hedge fund reversed course on tech giants in the third quarter, cutting positions in some of the "Big Seven" stocks, including Nvidia, Amazon, Alphabet and Meta, while placing new bets on applications, ecommerce and payments, according to the latest quarterly disclosure. Several funds also cut positions in high-profile companies in the healthcare and energy sectors in the quarter ended September 30. The overall market was higher in the third quarter, with the S & P 500 up nearly 8% and the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 up about 9% for the quarter.
