The latest 13F filing with the SEC shows that as of September 30, Brown University held BlackRock IBIT holdings worth about $13.80 million, while Emory University held 1,023,417 shares of Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust, worth about $51.82 million, a significant increase from the previous quarter, and disclosed that it held 4,450 shares of iShares Bitcoin Trust, worth about $289,000.
It was reported yesterday that Harvard University held 6,813,612 shares of IBIT (BlackRock Spot Bitcoin ETF) as of September 30, worth $442.80 million. Compared with the 1,906,000 shares disclosed in June, the position surged by 257%. The filing also revealed that it held 661,391 shares of GLD Gold ETF (State Street Gold ETF), valuing it at $235 million, an increase of 99% from 333,000 shares held in June.
