On November 16th, in response to the recently spread false accusation that "OKX Wallet has a backdoor", OKX CEO Star posted on the X platform, saying, "The private key module of OKX Wallet and all related smart contracts have been fully open-sourced, and many companies in the industry (including friends) are using our open-source code, which is our long-term commitment to promote industry transparency and security. As for non-private key modules, we will not open-source the code for the time being, because these parts are commercial software. Users can freely choose whether to use OKX Wallet according to their own needs and preferences."
He further pointed out that OKX Wallet is also one of the earliest MPC keyless wallet service providers in the industry. Due to the limitations of early versions of MPC products in terms of market acceptance, user experience and DApp support, we have decided to completely remove the old version of MPC wallet and launch a new generation of keyless wallets with more advanced and better experience - CeDeFi Wallet.
