Bitcoin fell below $95,000 several times on Friday and is down 7.5% for the week. One analyst said the sell-off looks more like a mid-cycle correction than the start of a full-blown bear market, as the current losses have not yet reached the level of a "capitulation sell-off".
The uncertainty in the market comes from a change in investors' expectations for the Federal Reserve's policy: traders now expect a 56.4% chance of keeping rates unchanged in December, compared with a 94% chance of a rate cut just a month ago.
Analysts: Bitcoin's sell-off may be a mid-bull market correction, not the beginning of a full-blown bear market
