Tether may lead a German robotics startup to raise $1.20 billion

Tether, the issuer of the stablecoin, is considering leading a $1.16 billion funding round for German tech start-up Neura Robotics and continues to explore new investment opportunities. According to people familiar with the matter, the two sides have initiated preliminary talks, and this round of financing is expected to value Neura Robotics in the range of 9.29 billion to 11.60 billion US dollars. Neura Robotics focuses on the development of humanoid robots, and its first product is mainly aimed at industrial customers, and plans to gradually expand into the field of domestic robots.
The stablecoin issuer generated more than $10 billion in profits in the first three quarters of the year and is looking to diversify its portfolio.
