Federal Reserve Governor Milan: Data supports interest rate cuts, the Federal Reserve should be more dovish
2025-11-14 20:55:21
Mr. Milan, the Fed governor, said recent economic data supported the Fed's case for a rate cut. "I think all the data we've had since the Fed's September policy meeting points to dovishness," Mr. Milan said. "The inflation data was better than we expected," he said, adding that the labour market data had weakened. On the issue of another rate cut, "all of this should make us more dovish, not the other way around".
