The Census Bureau, part of the Commerce Department, said on Friday that it would release construction spending, factory orders and international trade data for August next week. The release of the data has been delayed by the federal government shutdown. The construction spending report will be released on Monday, while factory orders data will be released the following day. The trade account will be released on Wednesday. All reports were originally supposed to be released in early October. "The Census Bureau will continue to coordinate with other agencies and the Office of Management and Budget to update the release schedule for economic indicators in response to the impact of the recent interruption in federal funding," the agency said in a statement. "We will provide an update as soon as the new release date is confirmed."
