Arjun Sethi, co-CEO of cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, said that despite a more friendly policy environment and improved market conditions, the company is in no hurry to pursue an initial public offering in the United States.
"We are financially strong and know how to manage risk. As a private company, we have enough capital on our balance sheet to not rush to go public," Sethi told Yahoo Finance, stressing that Kraken does not have a "fear of missing out" just because other companies are going public.
Kraken has been rumored to be planning an IPO since mid-2024, with Bloomberg reporting in March that the company could go public as early as Quarter 1, 2026. (Cointelegraph)
