Federal Reserve official Kashkari: Inflation remains too high, employment is under pressure

Neel Kashkari, president of the Minneapolis Fed, said "inflation remains too high, about 3 per cent". "Some parts of the US economy are doing well, but some parts of the labour market are under pressure," Mr. Kashkari said in his opening remarks at a Minneapolis Fed conference on Thursday.
