Bitdeer to raise $400 million through convertible senior note offering

Nasdaq-listed bitcoin miner Bitdeer announced that it will raise $400 million through the issuance of convertible senior notes. The company also plans to grant initial purchasers of the notes an option to purchase up to $60 million in additional notes within 13 days from the date of the initial issuance. This means that the company can raise up to $460 million. The new funds are intended to be used for data center expansion, ASIC mining machine research and development, AI and HPC cloud business expansion, and general corporate purposes.
