According to Lookonchain, an attacker launched an attack on the Hyperliquid platform by manipulating the POPCAT price, losing $3 million in funds and causing the Hyperliquid Liquidity Provider (HLP) to lose $4.90 million.
The attacker yesterday extracted 3 million USDC from OKX, dispersed it to 19 wallets, and then deposited it into the Hyperliquid platform to open a 125.14 million HYPE long position worth $26.28 million.
