Singapore to Launch Wholesale CBDC Testnet for Tokenization Trials

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) plans to launch a wholesale central bank digital currency (CBDC) testnet this week to support real-time tokenization trials. The move will provide the infrastructure for cross-border settlements and tokenized transactions.
