U.S. stocks close: The three major stock indexes rose and fell differently

U.S. stocks closed on Friday, with the Dow initially closing up 124.56 points or 0.32 percent, the S & P 500 up 0.16 percent and the Nasdaq down 0.03 percent. Extreme Krypton closed up 33.9 percent at $28.13 on its U.S. debut, with a market capitalization of $6.867 billion. Novavax Pharmaceuticals (NVAX. O) rose 98.6 percent. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index fell 0.58 percent, XPeng Motors (XPEV. N) fell 5.2 percent, NIO (NIO. N) fell 4.7 percent and Li Auto (LI. O) fell 2.2 percent.
