According to the U.S. stock market, stablecoin issuer Circle (NYSE: CRCL) fell more than 8% during the session and is now trading at $90, with a total market value of about $21 billion, down nearly 70% from its historical high.
Circle's Q3 earnings report released before the market showed that its total revenue and reserve income in the third quarter reached $740 million, an increase of 66% year-on-year; net profit was $214 million, an increase of 202% year-on-year, both higher than the agency's previous expectations of $700 million revenue and $31 million profit. In addition, the USDC in circulation at the end of the quarter reached $73.70 billion, an increase of 108% year-on-year.
