Franklin Templeton, an investment management firm, announced on November 10 that it will partner with DBS Bank to launch Singapore's first tokenized money market fund. The fund, called the Franklin Onchain U.S. Dollar Short-Term Money Market Fund, has been approved as an accredited scheme by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
Developed in partnership with DBS Bank, the fund is initially open to wealth clients and accredited investors through DBS Bank and is expected to open to retail investors in Quarter 1, 2026, with a minimum investment of $20.
