AMD expects the market for data centre chips and systems to grow to $1 trillion by 2030, its chief executive said. Artificial intelligence will drive much of that growth to $1,000bn, Ms Su said. The market includes AMD's central processors, network chips and specialised AI chips. "It's an exciting market," she said. "Data centres are without a doubt the biggest growth opportunity." In her opening remarks, Ms Su highlighted the company's recent AI-related acquisitions, including server maker ZT Systems and a range of smaller software companies. She said AMD had built "an M & A machine".
