YZi Labs announced an investment in regenerative medicine company Renewal Bio, YZi Labs' first biotech investment since expanding the scope of its investment in early 2025. Renewal Bio is focused on leveraging its proprietary Stembroid ™ platform to generate DNA-matched human cells and tissues from patients' own cells, with the aim of addressing the global organ shortage crisis. This funding round will accelerate the preclinical development of Stembroid-derived hematopoietic stem cells for leukemia and immune disease treatments, and support the expansion of laboratory infrastructure.
