The Department of Justice (DOJ) has selected consulting firm Forensic Risk Alliance as the external regulator for Binance. Wall Street law firm Sullivan & Cromwell was initially seen as the best choice for the role, according to people familiar with the matter. The Department of Justice declined to comment on the matter. Spokespeople for Sullivan & Cromwell and FRA did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
