According to Onchain Lens, several whales have started buying UNI as Uniswap Labs and the Foundation put forward a UNIfication proposal to activate the transaction fee switch and destroy UNI tokens.
Whale "0xb1f" bought 254,441 UNIs with 2.28 million USDT at $8.97;
Whale "0x0f1" bought 199,818 UNIs for 504 ETH (about $1.78 million) at $8.92;
Whale 0x555 bought 181,421 UNIs with 1.50 million USDC at $8.27.
The three whales together spent $5.56 million on about 635,000 UNIs.
