Fox TV in the United States recently reported on the recent sharp rise in US prices on the basis of the latest inflation data from the US Department of Labor, refuting US President Trump's remarks that inflation has dropped sharply. Trump said in a speech on the 6th that the prices of "all goods" are falling. Fox TV host said in the program later that the US Department of Labor's inflation data for September showed that coffee prices rose by 18.9%, natural gas prices rose by 11.7%, electricity bills rose by 5.1%, and auto maintenance costs rose by 11.5%. In addition, data released by the US Department of Labor on October 24 showed that the US Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 3% year-on-year in September, reaching the highest level since January. CNN reports that Americans are not only complaining about high prices, but also changing their consumption behavior. Last month, consumer goods brands such as Zipotle, Coca-Cola, and Crocs said on a conference call with Wall Street analysts that low- and middle-income consumers are no longer willing to buy these products.
