On November 7, the founder of FTX, SBF, retweeted a "satirical FTX administration process" and said that FTX was always solvent and never insolvent, whether before, on the filing date or after the filing. FTX debtors are still withholding funds, which deserves more attention.
On November 5, SBF said it would appeal to overturn the 25-year sentence on the grounds that the FTX case was "pre-empted guilt", that SBF had no intention of defrauding customers, and that he always believed that users' funds would be repaid in full. SBF's lawyers told the New York Court of Appeals on the 6th that the fraud trial was inherently unfair, and tried to overturn its fraud conviction on this basis.
